Don John PINHEIRO
'Dr. Pinheiro was President of the Mass. Cricket League composed of white and coloured clubs. He was widely respected in cricket circles throughout the state and was himself an ardent cricketer.' The only references I have found to Dr Pinheiro in Jamaica are to his presence on the Gleaner cricket team in the 1890s, as wicketkeeper, and batting in the upper half of the batting order.  |  Daily Gleaner, November 11, 1934 |
